    Crème des Princes

    Servings: 6
    Preparation time: 2 minutes
    Baking time: 10 minutes

    Ingredients
  • 4 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 Oz Wondra (1 table spoon) flour works best, but you may substitute cornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Oz Granulated Sugar
  • To make the crème des Princes a different flavor, you can add 2 tablespoons rum, 1/2 cup cocoa, or 1 tablespoon of instant coffee.
  • Directions:

Heat 4 cups of whole milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring often from time to time until it just comes to a boil.
While you're waiting for the milk to come to a boil, in a large bowl whisk together the 1 Oz. of Wondra flour or cornstarch and a 1/2 cup cold whole milk.
    Add eggs, whisk well.
Once the milk comes to a boil, pour the boiled milk into the mixing bowl, whisk again, and pour all ingredients back into the saucepan.
Heat again over low stirring constantly a few minutes but without coming to a second boil.
Pour into small serving cups and serve warm or chilled. It's wonderful either way!
    Bon Appetit!
